Thiruhrudhaya Sadhanam Charitable old age home was established on 31st July 2000 at Mookkannoor,Angamaly by Br.Jose Njaliyath with a mission to provide a loving and compassionate environment for elderly individuals who require care and support. The institution was founded with a deep sense of compassion ,focusing primarily on the care of elderly individuals who have been abandoned or rescued from the streets. The organization envisions a sanctuary where the most vulnerable elderly members of society could find not only shelter but also dignity, love and respect. Mr.Jose Njaliyath, Chairman Thiruhrudhaya Sadhanam Charitable Trust, Mookkannoor popularly known as ‘Brother Jose’. He was an employee of Milma society and resigned his job to do service to humanity initially preparing food and serving it to the needy and poor people with the support of his wife Ms.Jessy and children in his own home. Recognizing the increasing number of aged individuals left homeless or neglected, Br.Jose sought to create a place where they could live their final years in peace, surrounded by care and compassion. On 31st July 2000 he and his family started an initiative to give shelter,care and food to the aged the infirm and mentally disabled people at mookkannoor,Angamaly.
